An illustration I did for Stardrift Empires, an mmo on Facebook and syfygames.com. I've been working on this project for the past few months at Blue Frog Gaming, which has been awesomely fun and challenging.

This is a a profile image, which can be unlocked an used as an avatar in the game. it's simply something for aesthetics, and you can unlock certain ones after gaining a number of points through achievements. this one is an aristocratic woman, which was fun to think how the rich and ritzy would dress in the future. looked at a lot of modern fashion design to get ideas. starting painting figures differently for this one, where i skipped drawing lines and just moved straight to forms and values. and it's worked out pretty well so far. she doesn't have hair, but rather a headdress that looks kinda like hair, of gold and copper. but yeah, fun stuff.
