This is an illustration i did for stardrift empires nova, a new universe in stardrift empires. check it out if you get a chance. [link]

this is a new defensive style of ship designed to absorb large hits, despite limited weaponry. i had a bit of trouble with this one, getting the ship design to work. my original design for this ship was more complex, but the sketchier, thumbnail version of it worked alot better in this composition. so i opted for its simpler design to keep the energy of the sketch.
